This Agrodok considers how expanding to include fish farming can be integrated with other agricultural practices. A wide variety of farmers can benefit from this integration, as this document demonstrates how livestock husbandry and rice production can be of use when raising fish. Particular attention is paid to the infrastructure setup of how animal pens, fields, and fish ponds, providing down-to-earth examples of how they may be combined to benefit the farmer. Using this booklet can provide farmers with important insight in how to expand their operations to include fish production while minimising the need for external inputs.
