Agriculture education and training: information, advice and support

Sustainable food security is an urgent issue and Agromisa is currently working on a series of projects that centre on developing materials for schools and training colleges that provide agricultural education. Agromisa’s handbooks and publications targeting the small-scale farming sector are primary sources of information and the Agrodok series in particular is being used by NGOs, CSO and training institutions as a basis for developing their training materials.

Recently, Agromisa has participated in educational projects in Afghanistan and Uganda. Agromisa is also involved in setting up SILC, a Sustainable International Learning Community.
