Agromisa
Agromisa is a non-profit organisation founded in 1934 in the Netherlands that supports small-scale farmers and organisations by providing them with practical information on sustainable agriculture. The core activities are publishing (Agrodoks, AgroSpecials etc.) and the provision of expert advice through its Question & Answer Service.
Agromisa produces practical oriented and easy to read publications for small scale farmers, staff of agricultural service providers and development workers. Most publications are in the field of plant and animal production but also on related topics such as soil and water conservation, food storage, processing and marketing and other socio-economic subjects that are important for the development of the small-scale farming sector.

The CD-ROM 20 years of Collaboration was compiled in 2010 by the Agromisa Foundation and the Technical Centre for Agriculture and Rural Development (CTA) and contains key publications from the collections of Agromisa, CTA and their partner organizations.

Agromisa contributes to curriculum development for agricultural education in Afghanistan
Modules on beekeeping and fish farming ready for field testing in Afghan high schools in March
Agromisa has delivered two more educational modules for use in Afghan agricultural high schools. After translation into the Afghan languages Pashto and Dari the modules - on beekeeping and fish farming - will be field tested in six Afghan high schools. With the development of the material Agromisa continues to contribute to the Agricultural Technical Vocational Education and Training (ATVET) project in Afghanistan.
